To aid in building these relationships, Zabidz will offer an easy to use online marketplace with tools for finding leads, bidding, communicating and leaving feedback. These tools will promote efficient and effective communication between Zabidz members concerning job price and relationship satisfaction. To insure Zabidz success and rapid growth over the next three years, we must successfully bring these two groups together through our online bidding marketplace.
Nature of the Business
Zabidz is a service company, offering an online marketplace to serve as liaison between homeowners and local businesses, which provide domestic and home maintenance services. Founded in January 2006, Zabidz was conceived by two brothers, Aaron Thomas Helmlinger and Kelly Alan Helmlinger. As owners of lawn maintenance companies, the Helmlinger brothers saw the need for a central online destination that would bring household maintenance companies and homeowners together in a convenient and trustworthy environment to transact business relationships. This idea has been materialized in the creation of Zabidz.com, a web site that the founders have coined two new terms for: Domestic Services Marketplace ( DSM ) for the homeowners side of the relationship and Lead Generating Marketplace ( LGM ) for the function that it serves in the relationship for service businesses.
About The Founders
Aaron Thomas Helmlinger ( Co-Chief Executive Officer – Board Chairman ):
Mr. Aaron Helmlinger is an entrepreneur with a proven track record of successful startups and business expansions. He has helped these businesses grow sales, win contracts and raise investment capital that totals more than six million dollars, with service contracts totaling more than 1.5 million dollars annually. Currently, he is the owner of Whimsical Woods, a manufacturer of high-end garden furniture and porch swings. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Florida with a minor in entrepreneurship. Key areas of responsibility are: oversight of business financing, operation, and marketing.
Kelly Alan Helmlinger ( Co-Chief Executive Officer – Board Member ):
Mr. Kelly Helmlinger is the current owner of Lawnicure, a Nashville, Tennessee based lawn care service. Before starting his lawn care company four years ago, he was a licensed insurance agent in the State of Tennessee. He acquired a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Harding University with an emphasis on business management. Key areas of responsibility are: sales and leadership.
